Thankful

Dan and Heather were able to visit us for Thanksgiving. Living in Southern California, Dan really misses snow and was hopeful to be able to spend some time in great Utah powder. No such luck. It was a very, very dry November. So we spent time with other activities - Heather made her yummy pumpkin bars . . .
And Dan stamped Christmas tags . . . and then they had to return to California. Apparently, a few days after they returned, Southern Cali was inundated with rain. It rained and rained. And in Salt Lake . . .

It snowed and snowed! December 1st brought us a great storm. It's amazing what one storm can do.

Thanks to Kelli, I was able to shovel 6 inches of show off of the driveway AFTER Richard had already plowed 6 inches earlier in the day. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .
